What Customers Say About Sandisk 4GB M2 Memory Stick Micro (SDMSM2-4096/004G, Bulk Package):

Recommended buy. You can just use windows media player to transfer files (music, pictures, etc). I just bought a new Sony Ericsson w760a and threw purchased this memory card from Amazon. p.s. instead of downloading or buying any additional software, at least with this phone. great price, arrived in perfect condition 4 days after I ordered it. just threw about 3.5 gbs of music on my phone.

Highly recommended :) I've only used up 2 mb and fit almost everything i ever would need on my phone. Couldn't find an m2 card this cheap anywhere else. Now that I have this, there's always extra room for pictures, video recording and more music.

with sony ericsson pc suite from your computer you can save a lot files like music, photos, videos ,messages to your phone with this 4gb capable memory card to nice and cheaper price.

Highly recommended. I work on Ubuntu and can transfer 1 song (5MB) in about 2 seconds nearly immediatly, with old card takes 10 seconds.A M2 adapter is included with the card. Before buy the 4GB card, I had 512MB included with the cellphone.Since first time transfering data from the old card to this one, finished in about 15 minutes. This card can transfer files faster than old one.

My only other "gripe" is that this is yet another memory card format for us beleaguered consumers. Without the Pro Duo adapter, it would be a very limited-use card indeed. When I received the M2, I put it into my Sony Ericson phone (I turned the phone off, inserted the card, and then turned it back on), and the memory stick was detected right away, no formatting needed. I was even able to download an audiobook that had been saved as an MP3. Also, the M2 card is so far used only in S-E phones and nowhere else. Once, when I was using the phone, the card was suddenly not detected. The card was detected again.

And retailers that do carry M2 cards (such as Radio Shack or Wal-Mart) have it priced much higher than microSD cards of the same capacity. In comparison, M2 memory cards are rarely available at most stores, including electronics retailers such as Circuit City (which sells Verizon Wireless which doesn't use Sony-Ericsson phones).

I have been using the memory stick for a couple of weeks, and there was one glitch. We had already been using phones that accepted microSD cards, and microSD cards are extremely affordable nowadays.

I transferred pictures from phone memory to the memory stick, and then connected the phone to my PC to download MP3s and podcasts. Having to get this memory card was my biggest concern when I upgraded my family cell phones a few months ago.

Now I may even attempt to shoot some video with this phone and card. Using the Sony-Ericsson software to do the downloads and file transfers was very easy.

I shut off the phone, removed and re-inserted the card, and turned the phone back on.
